Worship Leader
Position Description
The Worship Leader will oversee the worship ministry of Grace Community Bible Church (GCBC) under the authority of the Senior Pastor and Board of Elders. Oversight of the worship ministry includes, but is not limited to, leading our congregational worship, as well as training and nurturing Praise Team members. This is a male volunteer position.
Desired Qualifications
- A clear testimony of faith in the Lord Jesus Christ (Required).
- Membership at GCBC (Required).
- Experience in leading worship, vocalists and/or musicians.
- Proficiency in playing piano or guitar with the ability to lead while playing.
- Strong vocal skills.
- Have a working knowledge of both modern worship music and traditional hymns.
- Be able to relate to and lead a multi-generational congregation in worship.
Responsibilities
- Directs and leads a small Praise Team during Sunday Morning worship.
- Provides leadership for weekly Praise Team rehearsals and coordinates music.

About Grace Community Bible Church
Grace Community Bible Church is focused on the verse-by-verse (expository) teaching of the Bible, stressing both corporate and individual study of Scripture, in order to help each believer mature in the knowledge of God and understanding of the faith. We are a growing congregation of approximately 70 members with an average Sunday Worship Service attendance of 90.
